MSI Afterburner has been a popular overclocking program for several years. The benchmark is then performed across a curveball to see if it’s failing or unable to keep up. In this way, MSI Afterburner lets you test and overclock each of them individually. If you have more than one internal fan, you can save a profile for each of them. You can set different configuration settings each time, while there’s a specialised CPU test button to push it to its limits safely. It measures performance across each test so you can see if your system is lagging. When it comes to stress testing, there’s an internal tool called Kombuster. The aspects you can assess include GPU temperature, voltage, core clocking speed, memory, and FPS.
It shows you specs for each setting, letting you analyse where you need more resources. All of the other threads are at 0% though, or they're at like 3%.If you’re wondering how well your computer is performing, you can check the monitor tool. After restarting MSI afterburner a few times and disabling and re enabling some settings, it started showing four threads actually being used. It was fluctuating between 30-55% usage, which is what I'd expect from a core while I'm doing so many things. If you'd like to know some curious things about what I found, when I looked at the individual threads on MSI afterburner, at first all I saw was CPU8 being actually accurate. As an example of how I know that they're not accurate and that task manager is closer to being accurate, I was literally downloading an entire game yesterday (Microsoft flight simulator) and running halo infinite at 120fps and MSI and the other programs said my CPU was at around 6% usage. At first I thought it was JUST MSI afterburner, until I used the built in monitoring tool in the Xbox game overlay and saw HWMonitor reporting the same usages. FINALLY I FOUND SOMEONE WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
